While I am still thinking whether to take it as a compliment or not, I discovered that Adam Ruben has the same problem: “You don’t write like a scientist, You write like a poet!” his advisor said glancing the grant application on the table. Words like “lone” are not-scietific, therefore must be banned from any scientific writing.
